Join a TACCA Committee
One of the greatest benefits as a member of TACCA- GSA is the opportunity to serve on our committees. By being a part of a committee, you have the chance to meet with others that are involved and to influence the industry, to learn from fellow volunteers, develop leadership skills and most importantly, gain positive exposure for your company! Stay active and informed about the pulse of the TACCA through participation in a committee. We want to stay current with our programs, events and business development opportunities, in order to meet your needs, we need your input. Committee participation is open to anyone from TACCA- GSA contractor and associate member companies.
Membership
Works to explore new techniques related to membership promotion, member recruitment, engagement, and retention. The membership committee meets on an as needed basis to work on projects throughout the year.
Education
Assists in the development of Business Management programs, education and training to equip members with leading edge information and techniques to operate a more profitable business and maintain a competitive advantage, as well as increase professionalism and excellence.
Under 40 Leadership Group
Develop group to help mentor and educate the next generation of leaders in the industry. This group consists of professionals ranging from their 20’s to 40’s. The group will meet regularly to plan and host mixers and activities and to introduce new members and network. Sporting Clay Shoot
Plan and execute the annual Sporting Clay Shoot. Responsibilities include promoting event and securing sponsors; determining prizes, raffles and giveaways; and planning food and beverages. This committee will meet periodically in the months leading up the event.
Golf Tournament
Organize our annual golf tournament, and generate excitement for the event which provides social and networking opportunities for our members. This committee meets weekly or bi-weekly for planning sessions in the weeks preceding the tournament.

Fishing Tournament
Plan and execute the annual Fishing Tournament in Corpus Christi. Committee members will generate buzz about the event and secure sponsors; determine the venue, awards, raffles, and giveaways; plan food and beverages and execute event logistics. The committee meets on a bi-weekly basis in the two months preceding the tournament.
South Texas HVAC EXPO
Plan and execute our biennial trade EXPO. The committee recommends ideas and activities, plans educational content, and secures speakers; promotes events to exhibitors; plans event marketing and publicity; and executes event logistics. The EXPO committee meets throughout the proceeding year with meeting frequency increasing in the months leading up to the event.

This Code of Standards of Conduct for members of the Texas Air Conditioning Contractors Association – Greater San Antonio (TACCA – Greater San Antonio), has been created to promote and maintain the highest standards of association service and personal conduct among its members. Adherence to these standards is required for membership in the association and serves to assure public confidence in the integrity and service of our member companies.

- To the best of my ability, I will provide clients with products and services as represented in my company’s agreements, proposals and advertisements. This includes monitoring the actions of my employees to see that they adhere to these representations.
- Adhere to the rules and regulations set forth in the Texas Contractor’s Licensing Law and to all City, State and Federal laws and regulations governing our industry and to the best of my ability, monitor my employees to see that they are made aware of all such rules and regulations and that they actively endeavor to follow them.
- Assist in notifying the proper authorities to support the Texas Air Conditioning Contractor’s License Law.
- Provide my clients written information concerning all warranties and guarantees for the products and services that my company provides and any manufacturer’s warranties.
- Take appropriate action on all equipment and product factory recalls that I have been notified of by the manufacturer.
- Employ those sales practices which will provide my clients with a true picture of their options.
- Abide by and support the Bylaws of TACCA – Greater San Antonio.
- To continually strive to gain respect for the industry, both in the local community and national levels.
- To make the largest contribution possible to the health, safety and welfare of the public in the installation, maintenance and operation of HVACR equipment.
- To advertise and sell the merits of my products and refrain from attacking competitors or reflecting unfairly on their products, services or methods of doing business.
- To reveal all material facts, to avoid concealment of information and refrain from the use of innuendos in advertising and selling that might cause customers to be misled, so that the truth about services or products may be fully understood by the trusting, as well as the analytical.
- To design or build in a manner compatible in every respect with public health and safety and to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances or regulations.
- To fulfill all contractual obligations, to offer a reasonable warranty of products and services and to perform on such warranty, either written or implied, where justifiable claims are in order and to do this without hesitation.
